The Mash Inn is a restaurant with rooms located in the hamlet of Bennett End, next to Radnage, Buckinghamshire. Our small restaurant features an open kitchen where we cook simply but skilfully over a bespoke wood-fired grill. We change the menu daily to reflect the seasons, often using ingredients from our own kitchen garden. We have five comfortable bedrooms available for overnight stays, making us the perfect venue for a short trip out of London.

I want people to come out here and connect with nature, be in working farmland, walk or cycle through woods and immerse themselves in the beautiful countryside that surrounds us. Here at the inn we forage, pickle and cure every day and our kitchen garden is key to our daily menu. Our grill was handmade by local craftsmen and is for all to see in our open kitchen; we cook over wood felled nearby. I have always wanted to break away from the norm and we hope we’ve managed to create a new inn experience. I want customers to be fully immersed in what we do here – you can leave your table and stand in the kitchen and watch the flames dance under the food. There are no doors between customers and the kitchen, it is a fully interactive and honest experience, and then when you have finished your meal you have one of our very comfortable rooms to rest for the night.
